I think we all get faced with this every day.  Sometimes we do what is best for ourselves and other times we do what is best or helps others.  Dean Waltman has had to make this decision for three years in a row.  See, many of you might not know, but Dean is good friends with Lee and Dennis from the Bowladrome in Twin Falls.  Dean worked with Lee and Dennis for over 10yrs.  Dean Even went to the NFC championship game with Lee a couple of years ago.  Three years ago the Bowladrome offered to sponsor Dean and after a little thought Dean came to me and said I would rather give the money to the club to help buy trophies.  2009 comes around and Dean is faced with the same dilema  and with the same result.  So this winter Dean and I had the discussion yet again about the bowladrome sponsorship.  I told him that I would not blame him for keeping the money for himself.  He thought about it for a few weeks and then called me and said you know I could really use that money but lets give it to the guys.  This is what made Dean a sportsman of the year.   Good Job Dean! and thank you.  Oh I believe this is total of $1,250 dollars.  Not to go unmentioned is Dave Skyberg who opened up his own wallet and gave the ISRL $100 to help with our sponsor ship match program.  Thank you Dave and Hope!  Its people like you that keep me going!  I am not writing this because I think all of you should do this, more just to pay respect to the ones that have.  Remember everthing helps.  We still need to raise about $500 to earn our sponsorship match from Dillon Auto Craft.   Thanks Bob

I would like to formally welcome everybody to the new ISRL website.  Also the ISRL has brought on board Motorsports Marketing to help out with the marketing of the ISRL.  They are a national sports marketing company that will provide and assist in the marketing of the ISRL.  The ISRL sponsorship program will be designed to achieve the following:

- Provide addtional finacial support for the league; and

- Add credibilty and visabilty to the league by association with corporations that offer products and servics that may be endemic and or non-endemic to racing.

 I believe this is a unique oppertunity that may help grow our organization.  So lets get those cars ready only about four weeks to go.   Thanks to all of you, Bob
